Italy is a European Problem!

the 3rd of October at 15:00 in Amsterdam,
Keizersgracht 564 in front of the Italian Institute for Culture! In defense of the Italian Constitution article number 21, that guarantees to ALL the freedom of expression, and the freedom of press, especially of the rare example of italian press that try to resist to the attach of Berlusconi.

Media-mogul empire of Berlusconi has been constructed on crime, trash, and destruction of italian cultural identity through a unprecedented and violent use of mass media, press, television and political power. His attach to basic civil liberties is unprecedented in united europe.

We will take with us copies of the newspapers controlled and manipulated from Italian Government and the corrupted italian political and economical elite, and free free words from them. With cutters, scissors and hands we will save the precious words of italian language from slavery. And use them to compose poems, words-in-freedom, new slogans, jokes and mottos.

Then we will symbolically glue them on the walls of the institute of Italian Culture or distribute them freely to the passer by for his enlightenment and smile.

This is self organized and horizontally supported act, propelled by individuals to support the national day for freedom of press in Italy.

You don’t have to be italian to participate, it can also become a precious lesson in italian language or an act of personal poetical creativity, and will make us feel understood and supported by fellow europeans. Bring a newspaper!

Italian gloomy, corrupted, criminal political system is a danger for the whole of europe.
